02FLY#1 - Flying Against Timeby `ukitakumuki

.. since its a personal day to day mood thing.. im in the mood for nicer lighting models and a general ambience.. esp for events to come. I feel that the previous pastel like quality cant bring out the emotions that i want to portray.

The STORY SO FAR: Crow 02 is bringing his injured gunner to the closest world-tree, where he hopes they might trade some ammunition for repairs and find shelter for the time being... the gunner is badly wounded, shot through the lungs.. im only telling this much for now

"Hold on, the crow says.. please.. hold on.. it wont be long now."

I am surprised by the response to " CHECKPoINT" and the old-skool disney/ghibli/etc -fantasy type look and story..

i was TRYING to get down to doing the urban scene for my mod.. but then i strayed off course while chatting with

about how i loved his animatic trailer, and was inspired to do something !

As with sketches, i plan on a maximum of 1.5 hour a page, cause this is the start of the story.. the plot (writers DIG THIS: its not written nor planned fully) ...

All i know is that it will involve free time and fun sketches, to see how i evolve and improve over time ( i hope to hell that i do!) Its by no means a serious work, and ill be glad to take some ideas!

my proposal:
The title is - 02. FLY - , simply put, " To Fly." The story will span a total of i-have-no-idea-how-many-pages, and has to do with unoriginal pirates and high flying adventure

TailSpin, anyone? Machineguns, Autocannons, Chainguns (chainguns are NOT GATLING GUNS NOR ARE THEY MINIGUNS! BAH!) and all forms of shell-based ballistic weaponry will be brought into play.. it should be dramatic.. emotional, ......romantic? -nah-

lots of blood.. and stuffing.. and feathers..and fur .. gummy bears will be killed, maimed, and metal will rip under fatigue as tracer fire fills the air

there will be rich sunsets, terrifying night flights, hearty breezes, force 5 gales, pirate raids, blitzkriegs, dogfights.. and a orgy of machinery and all forms of heavy industry

A story of fantasy(duh) and friendship! Its about the good things in life, chillin' ....and ....killin'... - um

ill stop here for now..

incredibly sketchy and painterly, beautifull, i like it a lot

the colors give a warmth-fading-5:30-PM feel to it

it looks like its easier for a plane to fly in these skies... so cloudy...
