You are so fucking good at the art game it scares me. I have been obsessed with the whole Russian space deal forever man. I love Vostok to death. They had such a different way of thinking. I love this picture. It sends of such a creepy vibe that says this is it. This was your last ride. Only a handful of people got to take that ride and survived.

You pretty much work on everything Iím interested in. Never stop. I wish some day I can create like you. You rock. I hope you consider working on more of that cosmonaut theme. Whatever you do I know it will be explosive. Keep your wheels on the ground.

Beautiful work. Tells an intersting story for the viewer, too. Rescue? Could make up a whole scene around just this picture. Excellent.
hyperballad22 Featured By Owner May 4, 2005
this is a great concept, i love how it really brings you to space and you can feel the emotion through the hands, instead of a face like what you would usually see in a picture.
you did a beautiful job, wow. actually all of your stuff is amazing.

Fuggin' awesome! Everything is nearly perfect -except- the fact that you can't really see many stars, i mean, you would be able to see a crapload of stars when you're outside of the atmosphere, but.. meh.

Hmm, I was just browsing your awesome gallery and found this. I don't remember seeing it before, and now when I've seen it I'm like "wow".
Strangely, I'm interested in all kinds of catasrophies and other bad things that are related to space... so this hit me very well. The angle is also really good.
I don't really have anything bad to say about this... expect that the spacesuit's outlook just a bit irriatates me, I'm not sure why, though. Maybe it's too futuristic for me or I'm just dumb. Either way, I'll favourite this... and I hope you aren't bored of favourites already. :P

Tilt your head, and put your hand over his. Then look at it. Picture takes on whole new meaning when it feels like you're the one reaching out =).
ukitakumuki Featured By Owner Jul 13, 2004  Professional Digital Artist
i dont do that... it already has enough meaning to me since i drew the fugger ,hand and all

Does it get repeatative to read more same-old comments where a few hundred people already commented before? lol. I just wanted to say, I like it a lot. But also two critical things (for once :O )

1. The austronauts left arm seems a bit too small & far away considering the small angle lens.

2. Resolution? Tiny. Tsk. Bigggger! :D
mikkow Featured By Owner Mar 12, 2004
oops, I mean his right (sorry, I haven't slept in a long time). The one furthest away in the painting.

This picture gives me a delightful tightening of the chest as I pondered the the view, the outstretched hand and the blurb that went along with it. I can't help but feel badly for the poor guy or gal and wish desperately that they reach the other person.

Your use of depth, and body language and the viewpoint really really emphasizes your talent. It creates the situation, and allows room for the mind to imagine.

I have to say, I'm going to have to +fav this and stalk you :D

What an amazing perspective. The effect of slow movement really works here, and the perspective of the hand in the astronaughts mirrored visor is breath taking!
