Long time no post!!! NYCC was eventful and I was delighted to meet a couple of deviants I've been following for years while IFS was there!

Anyways, here is a... personal variant of key art used in a defence science expo. The final version used contains only dropped bombs and clear blue skies and little other implied violence. The point of the image was how bombs, or stores, were
separated and jettisoned inflight.

Tilt your head to the right a bit, I promise it looks better that way

-The custom F18 here began as a 3D base/block model done by someone else, mesh heavily edited by me before getting overpainted; sidewinder was kept stock. Single tail config was merely meant to sidestep licensing issues, apparently.
-"Stealth flankers" in bg are my creation. They are not PAK FAs. They were inspired by the Flanker, and YF23. And plenty of Macross.

Wow, awesome painting!!

Love the details. So much violence, wonder what they would of thought if this had been used in the expo- I mean, shot up fighter, rounds going everywhere, fireballs on the ground, and blood splattered in the cockpit where cannon fire took away the navigator??? The horrors of war, first hand!!

Yeah, Macross had some great fighters, lol!
