Long have I wondered, just what happens after a Pelican goes down. And you sir, have captured just that in this picture: the damage on the Pelicans, the displaced dirt, the lighting, even the smoke all have that feeling of grit you would come to expect from a halo novel. +fav.
Also did anyone else notice just how many pelis end up crashing, i mean there's like one in every halo game (that i know of) that has crashed
I've seen this fav'ed in so many people's galleries but have only now found my way to your page. I must say this piece's fame-ishness is well deserved.
I can't really see some of the things in the background, like the airship shooting, I assume it's a Banshee. Regardless of my poor grasp on the 'characters' fighting off in the distance it is a very good piece and I'm surprised I haven't clicked on it before now. Despite that I don't like Halo all too much, I still like realistic artworks like this .
Hmm...I still don't see the error.. but maybe that's just my mind playing tricks on me seeing as to how i traced over the photo of it I'm lazy that way! Thank you though. And you may be right- Just cause its accurate doesn't mean its set in the same 'lens perspective as' the rest of the image, which may be the reason it looks f'ed.
