An excellent depiction of what the the Empire is truly capable of without the Death Star. This is in fact more terrifying than a long distance view of a planet blowing up.
On inspecting the higher res version i noticed 3 Nebulon-A Cruiser(mid right of the pic) taking part in the bombardment, did the empire have those too? I cant rember.
If you mean the Nebulon-B frigates, they actually were built for the Empire by the same manufacturer as the Star Destroyers: Kuat Drive Yards. They also had one of the highest defection rates in the fleet, so many of them ended up in Rebel hands.
Giant Ominous flying cheese wedges... With this kind of Firepower I have to ask myself, why didnt they just simply pound the Endor moon to dust rather than doing that embarrassing little ground ops?
