Space Vagabonds: Combat by ukitakumuki Space Vagabonds: Combat by ukitakumuki
Long time no post!

Finally, some work that I can actually show that isn't under NDA.

Done for Space Vagabonds [ [link] ] Gregor Theado 2009

Once in a while you get those crazy passionate clients that actually have vision and know what they want. Gregor is certainly one of them and it was a blast doing these characters and mechanicals for his RPG universe.

This here is the Combat Officer from the Colonial Defence Squadron. They are basically zero G trained rapid response/SWAT teams. Inspiration for this was a combat swimmer's wetsuit and gear and some cult sci fi elements thrown in to mix it all up.

This would work great for a Nanite Systems armor in Planetside 2 .

i like how the gear is set up. not so many pinch points like most fantasy concept gear. though im wondering how propellant based firearms fair in space.

Nice but there is no plating to the butt area.

one does not put plating in the butt area typically, but I can see why in a skinsuit it would make sense :) I figured it would be more a 'muscle booster' suit so its really just augmenting the extremeties rather than be a hulk suit.
