3 hours 10 min PS 6.0 60% ref was used...

this is for Gotterfunke, leader of the Eve of Destruction mod for EA's Battlefield 1942 game. It is supposed to be a load screen.. i was asked to paint one for them.. so.. hope its not too boring. i felt like using this opportunity to play with the bg and warped perspectives... the surrounding is very bright, so id like to point out that there are bullet impacts on the water surface... the plane is a Skyhawk.. its getting shot at from above.. and escaping after a low level beach run.. (originally i was going to make it a strafing scene.. but i got lazy.. and now the whole pic is about the skyhawk)

not bad at all. thinking about doing a version with more of an atmosphere? even without it, the piece is well drawn. and the reflection adds so much to it all. great work!

Really awesome indeed! Really like the simplicity of the composition. How there's only the plane sharply against the bright background. The planes reflection below on the water is a really nice touch. Gives it the feel of fast movement. Great work!
